Who it's for

Three product types.
Any industry.

Most CPQ platforms only know how to sell one shape of thing. Billable CPQ ships with three native product models you can mix on a single quote — so it fits any business that sells.

Type 01

Professional Services

Full resource model — roles, bill rates, cost rates. Phase-based project structure. Weekly staffing grid. Utilization and budget-vs-actuals tracking.

Consulting firms Implementation partners Agencies Law firms Managed service providers

Type 02

SaaS & Subscriptions

Native subscription model with per-user, per-tier, or usage-based pricing. Multi-year ramps with quantity + price + discount per year. Annual, monthly, or custom billing frequency.

SaaS platforms Software vendors Data & API providers Infrastructure Digital subscriptions

Type 03

Products & Bundles

Configurable products with dependency rules, bundle configurators, and guided selling wizards. Custom sections and screens per product line. Works for physical goods, digital bundles, or anything in between.

The real unlock: you can mix all three on a single quote. A SaaS implementation deal with a platform subscription (Type 02), a 12-week onboarding staffed by 4 consultants (Type 01), and a hardware edge-device bundle (Type 03) — one quote, one PDF, one signature.
01 · Quoting

Configure complex deals in minutes, not days

Build quotes for any shape of deal — one-time products, subscriptions, multi-year ramps, staffed professional services engagements, or all of the above on the same quote. Everything recalculates live, nothing has to live in a spreadsheet.

🧱 Multi-line Quote Builder

Products, subscriptions, usage, and professional services resources on a single quote. Grand total and margin recompute as you type.

🧩 Bundle Configurator

Dependency rules auto-show and hide options based on earlier selections. Ideal for manufacturers, SaaS with feature packs, and service firms with deliverable mixes.

📋 Scoping Workbooks

Capture sizing assumptions — number of users, locations, integrations, data volume — then auto-map those into hours, resources, and deliverables on the quote.

📄 Branded PDF Proposals

Company logo, executive summary, phase breakdowns, line items, terms, signature block — generated in one click from the live quote. No copy-paste.

📑 SOW Builder & Clause Library

Reusable SOW templates with conditional clauses (HIPAA, Pro-Serv, SaaS, data processing). Mix and match clauses per quote without rebuilding from scratch.

🔁 Versioning, Clone & Renewals

Clone any quote as the starting point for a new deal. Renewal dashboard surfaces upcoming contract ends and auto-generates renewal quotes from the original.

02 · Pricing

A real pricing engine — not a discount field

Pricing rules that actually fire. Volume brackets, customer-specific contracts, multi-year ramps, margin floors — configured once, applied automatically every time the rep builds a quote.

📊 Volume & Tier Pricing

Bracket pricing (first 1,000 at $X, next 9,000 at $Y). Block pricing for packaged quantities. Rules stack so combos just work.

🎯 Customer-Specific Pricing

Contract rates that only apply to a specific account. No more "let me check the price list for Acme" — the quote always knows.

📈 Multi-Year Ramps

Subscription quantity + price + discount growing per year over a 2, 3, or 5-year term. Total contract value computes automatically.

🛡️ Margin Guardrails

Set a target margin per product or quote. Flag any line that breaches it. Gate the submit button behind approval when margin drops too low.

% Line & Quote Discounts

Apply percentage or dollar-amount discounts to individual lines, groups, or the whole quote. Stacking logic handles combo rules cleanly.

🏷️ Price Updater

Bulk-update prices across the catalog by percentage or fixed amount. Preview the impact before committing — no rogue price changes.

03 · AI

AI that actually ships quotes

Claude is built into Billable CPQ as a first-class quoting tool — not a chatbot bolted on. Describe the deal in plain English, and the AI configures every line, price, ramp, and discount.

🤖 Claude Quote Generation

"Add the Enterprise bundle for 50 users over 3 years with a 10% ramp discount." Claude configures the whole quote, saves it, and lands you on the summary view.

🔑 Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

You pay Anthropic directly for AI usage. Zero markup from Billable. Your Anthropic key, your data, your control. Never stored in plaintext.

🧭 Guided Selling Wizard

Step-by-step interview that walks reps through product selection, dependency rules, and pricing tiers. The newest rep quotes like your best one.

Auto-Save & Navigate

When Claude finalizes a quote, it saves and drops you on the Products tab of the Quote Detail automatically. No "did it save?" moments.

🔒 Context-Aware Guardrails

Claude operates inside your pricing rules and margin floors. It won't generate a quote that violates your approval policies — it just flags them.

🎓 Activity Trail AI audit

Every Claude-driven change is logged alongside manual edits. Full audit trail of who (or what) changed what, when — reps, managers, AI.

05 · Projects

Billable CPQ isn't just quoting — it carries through to project execution. Staffing plans, resource grids, timesheets, utilization, and budget vs. actuals, all linked to the quote that won the deal.

🏢 Engagements

Frequently asked

Questions we get asked
before every demo.

Straight answers — no sales-speak, no redirects to a lead form. If we haven't answered it below, email us directly.

How is Billable CPQ different from Salesforce Revenue Cloud or Salesforce CPQ?

Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced is powerful but built for enterprises with six-figure budgets and six-month implementation timelines. Billable CPQ ships in a week and costs $49–$149/month. Same core CPQ capabilities — quotes, pricing rules, bundles, approvals — without the implementation partner, the license fees, or the rebuild every time your product catalog changes.

We're not trying to replace Salesforce itself. If you run Salesforce as your CRM, Billable CPQ connects to it via native two-way sync. If you don't, Billable works great on its own.

Do I need Salesforce to use Billable CPQ?

No. Billable CPQ is a standalone platform that works end-to-end without any CRM. The Salesforce integration is optional — plug it in if you use Salesforce, skip it if you don't. HubSpot is on the roadmap for a post-v1.0 release.

Many of our users run Billable CPQ as their primary system of record for quotes, engagements, and invoicing. CRM integration becomes useful once sales volume grows, but it's never required.

How long does implementation take?

A standard setup is live in one week. That includes importing your product catalog, configuring pricing rules, branding your PDFs, and connecting your CRM if applicable. No implementation partner required.

Enterprise-scale rollouts with multiple business units, complex approval hierarchies, or heavy custom-field requirements may take 2-3 weeks. Still dramatically faster than the 3-to-6-month timelines common with legacy CPQ platforms.

Is the AI (Claude) built in or a separate add-on?

Built in as a first-class tool. Click the "Ask Claude" panel, describe your deal in plain English, and Claude configures every line, tier, ramp, and discount — then saves the quote and opens the Products tab automatically.

We use a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model — you pay Anthropic directly for your AI usage, no markup from us. Your Anthropic API key is encrypted at rest and never stored in plaintext.

Can my team use this on mobile?

Yes — native iOS app available on the App Store. It's not a web wrapper; it's built with SwiftUI and shares the same authentication as the web app. Your reps can build quotes, your managers can clear the approval queue, and your leadership can check pipeline health without opening a laptop.

The web app is fully responsive too, so any browser on any device works fine.

How much does Billable CPQ cost?

Free — 1 user, 5 active quotes, 3 bundle products, core CPQ engine, PDF generation. No credit card, no time limit.

Starter — $49/month — up to 5 users, unlimited quotes, all CPQ features, Salesforce + HubSpot sync, pricing rules engine, email support.

Growth — $149/month — up to 15 users, guided wizard, customer-specific pricing, advanced analytics, approval workflows, priority support.

Enterprise tier available for larger teams, SSO, custom contracts — contact us.

What about data security?

Billable CPQ runs on Supabase (enterprise Postgres) with row-level security enforced at the database level, so users only ever see their own company's data — even through API calls. All integrations use OAuth 2.0. Third-party API keys (Salesforce, Anthropic, etc.) are encrypted at rest using pgsodium.

Auth is JWT-based via Supabase Auth. All traffic is HTTPS. Data hosted in US-region Supabase infrastructure. Formal SOC 2 certification is on the roadmap.

Can I migrate from QuoteWerks, Salesforce CPQ, or another tool?

Yes. Billable CPQ includes a built-in CSV data loader for bulk-importing accounts, contacts, products, and price lists. Column mapping, error preview, and rollback on failure — so a failed import never leaves you with half-loaded data.

For Salesforce CPQ customers specifically, we pull your product catalog and pricebook directly via the two-way sync once OAuth is connected. Migrations typically complete in a few hours of hands-on work.

Does Billable CPQ support subscription products with ramp pricing?

Yes — it's one of the three native product types. Configure multi-year ramps with quantity, unit price, and discount per year. Total contract value computes automatically. Billing frequency supports monthly, quarterly, annual, or custom.

Can I quote professional services alongside products and subscriptions?

Yes — on the same quote. Full resource-and-phase model with a weekly staffing grid, bill rates, cost rates, and utilization tracking. A SaaS deal with a 12-week implementation staffed by four consultants, a year-one subscription, and a hardware bundle is all one quote, one PDF, one signature.

What integrations are available today?

CRM: Salesforce (OAuth, two-way sync, write-back, quick action).
AI: Anthropic Claude (BYOK).
Email: Resend (transactional quote delivery with SPF/DKIM).
Billing: Stripe (subscription management for Billable CPQ itself).
Data import: CSV loader for products, accounts, contacts, pricelists.

Coming soon: HubSpot two-way sync, DocuSign envelopes, Slack notifications, Microsoft Dynamics.

What's on the roadmap?

Highlights:

  • Native Salesforce React app via Salesforce Multi-Framework (when production deployment GAs)
  • Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
  • Multi-currency UI (schema already supports it)
  • Advanced approval workflows with parallel/sequential chains
  • Stripe integration for payments
  • Contract and Order objects to complete the Quote → Contract → Order → Invoice lifecycle
  • Usage-based billing with metered consumption tracking

Full roadmap lives in the repo.
